Reviews of Unintended Consequences
Stan Slaughter's latest effort to change the world through catchy tunes should be heard by every school-aged child and then shared with their parents. His cleverly written, critical messages are easy to swallow when mixed with wonderful sing-a-long tunes. And as we should all know, they need to be swallowed and followed by this and the next generation. This CD is to be commended for its musical talent and green message. Classroom and music teachers, parents of school aged kids, environmental ed. Teachers and naturalists, click on the link on the previous page and treat yourself to this CD and then do the right thing, share it as often as you can.

Stan The Compost Man Slaughter builds on his extraordinary body of ecological, eclectic and fun! music with his third album, Unintended Consequences. Stan, with his wife Linda on fine accompanying vocals, pours out a trove of tunes in a wide range of styles, teaching, leading and entertaining with equal facility both kids and adults. The need for this message gets greater every day. Stan steps up to the unfolding ecological crisis and meets the challenge with the tuneful inspiration, humor and effectiveness we have come to expect from America's Number One Eco-troubador. Unintended Consequences is the shining tip of the iceberg of the great legacy of Earthly good works that is Stan Slaughter's Tall Oak Productions.

Unintended Consequences is a fun way to learn about environmental and human health risks from toxics. Important messages for children and adults are delivered through creative and often humorous lyrics and toe-taping tunes. This is Stan's best recording yet and if you are not already acquainted with this talented eco-troubador you owe it to yourself to tune in. It won't be long before you are singing along with We're All Connected, Bad Actors and the other delightful songs on this album.
